PERSONAL PROFILE
 
Dr. Huaying Chen worked on materials science during his bachelor and master studies. Since his PhD study, he has been working on lab on a chip devices. His main outcomes include the following aspects: i) Design and manufacturing of microfluidics and microdevices (eg. micropumps, microvalves and microelectrodes); ii) Fluid dynamics and computational fluid dynamics; and iii) Applications of microfluidic platforms in cell analysis, detection of pathogen and biomarkers, and embryo screening.
