He received the B.Eng. degree in Control Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, in 2000; He received the M.Eng. degree in Mechatronics and Precision Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan in 2004, 2007 respectively. He was with the department of Mechanical Engineering, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan from 2007 to 2015 as an Assistant Professor.
From June 2015, he has been with the Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Graduate School, Shenzhen, China. He is currently an Associate Professor with the school of Mechanical Engineering and Automation. His research interests are flexible manipulator, deformable object manipulation, service robotics. Dr. Jiang is a member of RSJ, IEEE/RAS and JSME.
