Chao Shen is now a full professor of School of Science at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen). He obtained his Ph.D degree from National Space Science Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997. His main research interests include magnetospheric storm and substorm, magnetic reconnection, space plasma, dynamics in the inner-magnetosphere.
