PERSONAL PROFILE
 
Dr. F.Y. Sun joined Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Graduate School in 2011 after receiving his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. His main areas of teaching are in biological wastewater treatment, water quality measurement and water resources. His research interests include membrane filtration, from MF to RO, for water and wastewater treatment; decentratlized wastewater treatment process and optimization, and biological nutrients removal process. Dr. Sun is an expert in membrane bioreactor, and membrane filtration process. He has developed several of membrane-based treatment processes for simultaneous removal of N and P, and vegetation combined activated sludge process for decentralized wastewater treatment.
