Yunming Ye is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Shenzhen Graduate School, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). He is also the director of Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Internet Information Collaboration, and the director of Intelligent Enterprise Computing Research Lab in HIT Shenzhen. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2004. His research areas are Data Mining, Intelligent Web Search and Business Intelligence. Before joining in HIT, he has been a key researcher participating in two ITF projects in ETI at the University of Hong Kong. He has published over 60 refereed papers in international journals or conferences, including TKDE, TNN, PR, SIGKDD etc. He has already obtained two granted projects from National High-tech Program (863 program), three granted projects from National Science Funding (NSFC) , six granted project from Shenzhen government and six industry collaboration projects, as the principal investigator. Prof. Ye has obtained an IBM UIMA Innovation Award in 2006.
